JLPT December 2026 in Sri Lanka: dates, fees and how to register
28 Jul 2026 · 6 min read
Everything Sri Lankan candidates need for the December sitting — registration window, test centres, fees and what to bring.
The December JLPT sitting in Sri Lanka is held at the University of Kelaniya and a second Colombo centre for high-demand levels. Registration usually opens in late August and closes in mid-September — there are no late entries, so diarise it now.
Fees vary by level and are paid at registration. Bring your printed test voucher, national ID or passport, and an HB pencil with an eraser. Digital watches and phones are collected at the door.
Plan roughly 300 study hours for N5, 550 for N4 and 900 for N3 if you are starting from your current level. Our batches are timed so that mock exams land four and two weeks before the sitting.
